Shreya Parigi

I am an Economics major with a minor in Political Science and a focus on International Relations, currently pursuing an accelerated M.S. in Quantitative Economics at the University of Pittsburgh, expected May 2027.

My interests lie at the intersection of international economics, economic policy, and global markets, particularly how geopolitical and economic forces shape trade, financial systems, and supply chains. Through Pitt's MQE program, I'm building expertise in quantitative methods, economic inference, and big data forecasting, while developing skills in data-driven economic research and communicating analytical insights. I currently serve as a Marketing Assistant for the MQE Department. I also enjoy writing and research at the intersection of economics and international affairs, and hope to apply this quantitative and political-economic perspective to problems in international markets, supply chain strategy, and economic policy.

Beyond academics, I'm an active member of Pitt Sangeet and have been training in Indian classical vocal for over 15 years (Carnatic Music Club).
