Jingchuan Wang is a member of the 2023 cohort of the Master of Science in Quantitative Economics at University of Pittsburgh. He earned a dual degree in Economics and Mathematics, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Pittsburgh n 2022. Alongside his academic training, he worked in the Registrar's Office at the Guangdong College of Finance, and served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Introduction to Microeconomics while at Pitt. Jingchuan is deeply motivated to apply economics theory and he is expanding his use R and Python to prepare for solving real world problems. He completed research on California Consumer Privacy Act to analyze the pros and cons caused by this policy with a paper.
